Manicure The Buds
After the plants have been harvested, you should manicure the buds by cutting off any leaves that were growing from them. Use a sharp pair of scissors and try to get as close as possible without cutting off any of the bud itself.
Rather than throw away any of the leaves and other plant material that are cut off the plant when manicuring, save them in a paper bag or somewhere else where they can dry out. You can use them to make hash oil.
